CA’ MACANA LEISURE ACTIVITIES FOR TOUR OPERATORS: Since 1989, Ca’ Macana organizes mask-making courses and presentations on the history and the tradition of Venetian masks. We offer these experiential tourism activities for all types of groups: educational tourism and schools, family groups, incentive travel programs, and corporate team building in Venice. The success we have had is due to the genuine quality of our offer and to the fact that our formats are flexible and specially tailored to the needs of participants and organizers.

Activities main features:

Venue: 
All activities take place in our two workshops based in Venice historical center. These are real master workshops (not touristic attractions) where you can see authentic Venetian masks being made. However, for special events, we can organize our activities in other locations such as hotels, conference rooms, or other venues chosen by the organizers.

Number of participants:
We can comfortably accommodate up to 125 people seated: 70 people in our new workshop and another 55 people in our older workshops, only 50 meters apart from the first.

Event duration:
Our activities range in duration from only 45 minutes to two-and-a-half hours, depending on your needs. They can also take place on evenings, weekends, public holidays.

Languages:
Events are offered in English, French, Italian, and Russian. However, if the group organizer provides an interpreter (it can be the group leader or guide), our activities allow for easy real-time translation.

Catering:
We can organize refreshments from a professional catering service specialized in Venetian food and drinks or we can host caterers provided by the organizer. 

Safety:
We do not use dangerous materials or harmful tools in our courses or presentations. We provide aprons, to protect clothes during those parts of the experiences that involve painting.
